Good morning Everyone! It is so beautiful here in Crete. I am staying in Heraklion. The people are very laid back. When we were asking about the different excursion to do, they told us you are on holiday make sure you take time to just relax. Boy, was that a big reminder of what I am suppose to do while here. We meet a lovely Lady from Holland last night that has been coming here for the past 2 years for her 2 weeks vacation. All she really does is go to the beach and pool daily. They all have that beautiful golden glow to there skin. We are probably the only culture that needs to schedule time to relax. And then when we do go on vacation we are always busy! Yesterday, I just napped after arriving here. There is a 7 hours difference in time!
Today, we are planning on going to an olive oil farm. I can’t wait to see the process of how they extract the oil. I will keep you posted.
