Good morning everyone.  It is a beautiful Fall morning.  I just finished my daily morning mediation and I am ready for the world.  It always feels good to start my day rejuvenated.  Today is a good day!  Always remember that we are in control of our life—we shape the type of day we will experience.

Thank you all for following my blog.  Today is Day 3 of the cleanse.  I have had a couple of questions that I would like to address:

1.   If you cannot tolerate Apple juice or apples for whatever reason, then you can substitute it with Cranberry juice or Malic acid (can be purchase at a local health food store).  If you are going to use the Malic acid you should substitute ½ to 1 teaspoon of malic acid, taken with four to six 8 oz glasses of room-temperature water for the 32 oz of apple juice per day.  For those suffer from diabetes, hypoglycemia, and yeast infections, cancer, and stomach ulcers then this substitute is good to use.

2.  If you cannot tolerate Epsom salts (like me—it is sooo unpleasant) then you can use Magnesium Citrate.  This can be found at your local Health Food Store or Drugstore.

3.  If you suffer from gallbladder disease or your gallbladder has been removed, you may need to take the cranberry juice for 2 to 3 weeks before doing the liver cleanse.

Please let me know if there are other concerns or questions that you may have.  This cleanse is amazing—but it has to be done right.

  1. I have done this cleanse for years, altho not with the apple juice. Perhaps I will try that next time. In fact I am finishing one today, haven’t done it for quite awhile. Any who, I remember that I was told to take a very strong probiotic drink (can’t remember the name of it but it came in a small bottle with a yellow label, helpful I know!) afterwards to re-establish the needed bacteria. You might want to add this bit of info.
